I think you will like the layout I'm going to share today.  I really love the papers I used that were in a kit I got from The Scraproom.  I used photos from a Disney trip my goddaughter took with her husband and daughter.  

Ready for Thanksgiving??  Me neither...lol

My goddaughter went and had professional photos taken and then promptly sent them to me to scrap. Yay!  Here is a layout of her son who is so freaking cute!!  I used papers and embellies from my Flavors of the Month kit from The Scraproom.

Picture Perfect

Welcome to the blog today!

I made this layout at a crop in October.  I was inspired by the Freaky Fast Friday challenge in October at The Scraproom.  I forgot to post it but that isn't anything unusual! lol  I still am happy I was inspired to make it.

I used my Flavors of the Month kit from the Scraproom.  It worked so perfectly with this photo.  I love the bright happy colors and the fun embellies that came in the kit.

What's up??  I have a layout to share today that I really like.  Is that wrong to say you like your own layout? lol  Anyway I think I really just love the photo of my goddaughters child.  She is just a gorgeous girl.  Look and see what I mean.

Give Thanks

Hi peeps!

I'm back yet again today!!  Look at me go... I have a double page layout to share.  I was inspired by 3 different challenges!  I used a sketch from Stuck Sketches for one of the pages.  I used the mood board from Challenge YOUrself blog.  You have to include yourself on your layout which I did and I was inspired by the fall colors and leaves on the mood board.  And I did the Tic Tac Toe challenge at Scrap Our Stash.  I used the diagonal starting from the upper right side - the color brown, fall theme and echo park.

These photos are from the Give Thanks Scrap Society crop my friends, The Design Divas and I went to at the beginning of November.  We had a such a fun time!  I love getting together with my scrappy friends!

I hope you enjoyed these layouts and are maybe inspired to join in on any or all of these challenges.

War Eagle Week

Welcome!

I'm back today with another layout.  I was inspired to make this one from Awesome Adventure  challenge at the 123 Challenge Blog.  You are required to use 1 sketch, 2 words and 3 colors.  The colors were green, blue and grey and the words are Awesome and Adventure.  The sketch was super cool!  Here is what I was inspired to create...

I have an annual tradition of going with my Mom and Aunt for a week long trip to Arkansas in October.  We have been going for about 30 years.  The week we go there are tons of craft festivals.  We hit up the craft festivals, flea markets and antique stores.  We take my RV and camp and just have a fun girl trip.  My mom passed away but my 88 year old aunt and I are still going.  These photos are from our trip this year.  We totally lucked out and got a lake front parking spot for the RV!  It was gorgeous!!  We had a great trip and I'm happy to get to scrap the memory.

Hello friends!

What's up with you?  I sitting here trying to get a bunch of blog posts typed up.  I went to a crop and got several layouts made.  Now I need to get them posted and entered into challenges.  Lets start with this layout I made for the Scrappy Friends Challenges.  

There was the Rewind Sketch challenge from Brenda and the Word Art Inspiration board challenge from Rochelle.  The word I was inspired by was Thankful.

I love the movement in the photos from her dancing.  I love that girl so much!  The sketch was fun and I am happy that I used the word art inspiration for something besides "fall".  Go join in the Scrappy Friends Challenges!!

Sketches in Thyme - November

Welcome to the blog!

I'm the worst layout photographer!  I can never get my photos straight and I am apparently not a very good editor either.  So just imagine this with a nice pink border around it...  (deep sigh)
