Sketches in Thyme January 2017

Welcome to 2017!

I'm excited to be back here in 2017.  I have been having trouble logging onto my blog.  For some reason it keeps my son logged in and doesn't let me log in.  So I'm a bit behind on things.  Surprisingly today I was commenting on my friend, Denise's blog http://www.Lalasworld.blogspot.com and when I tried to log onto my gmail account, it let me!  Yay!  So, I rushed back to my blog and here I am writing a post!  lol

Let's start with the new year...have any of you made any resolutions?  I made the same one I make every year...move more, eat less.  So far I'm moving more.  Not sure about the eating less though! lol I'm taking it step by step, literally!  I got the fitbit flex 2 and I've started walking 10,000 steps each day again.

 Pretty right?

I've been doing really well so far.  My kids are helping out by encouraging me to take walks with them and I try to get in laps around my pool. (walking laps around the outside edge) (Not in the water) That sounds weird but it works for me.  However it has been chilly here in Henderson. It was 33 degrees here yesterday which made walking outside a challenge.  I did it though!! Woot!  I had my 10,000 steps done before the kids got home from school.

How about you?  Anything exciting to share?  I would love to hear from you!

Now let me share a layout I made for the first sketch challenge this month over at Sketches in Thyme:

The paper is from the December Flavor of the Month Club kit over at The Scrap Room.  I'm obsessed with Christmas papers so I have to confess I used this same kit for my December layout for Sketches in Thyme too.

I was a bit challenged taking the photo.

You should head over to Sketches in Thyme and check out the sketch challenges there this month.  You can enter as often as you want for the one prize given away each month.

Okay, enough from me....I heading off to walk a bit more.

Thanks for stopping by and looking.  Until next time...happy scrapping!
