Custom Flower Stamping With Crafter's Companion

This holiday weekend has flown by so quickly.  Tomorrow the kids are back to school and ....wait....that means I have the whole school day to myself!  (big smile)  What was I so sad about? he he he  Just kidding.

This weekend I was feeling super scrappy and I saw this awesome sketch challenge at The Sweetest Thing and I got the idea of using my Stamp It Australia - Destination stamp to create a custom flower for my card.

Let me show you what I did to make this card come alive.

First I gathered my supplies.

Then I inked up my stamp with the gorgeous Memento Luxe ink in Morocco and stamped it on my white flower.  You could easily stamp on any color of flower with any color of ink or stamp.  The possibilities are endless!

Here is one of the flowers right after I stamped it.

What a difference right?!

After I stamped the flowers, I heat set the pigment ink with my heat gun.  You can just wait for them to dry but I was too impatient! ha

Next I grabbed my Collall Tacky Glue and layered the two flower sizes.  This is the best glue!  It dried quick and clear.

Here is a close-up view of the flower with added bling in the middle on the card I made.

I finished up my card with a sentiment from the Stamp It Australia -Imagine- Sentiment Swirls stamp set.  These stamps are some of my all time favorites!

You should try this technique and share your projects on the Crafter's Companion Facebook page!  We would love to see them.  Thanks for stopping by today!  Until next time...happy scrapping!
