I made this page to help my kids and I remember the fun time we had celebrating Quinn's 10th birthday.
We had planned to go bowling. We went to the Casino and ate at the buffet (Quinn's favorite) before and then walked over to the bowling alley (inside the casino). There was a guy at the door and he asked us if we were "punk rockers". It was fairly obvious that we weren't so he informed us that there was a weekend long punk rocker bowling tournament going on and we couldn't go bowling.
The kids were bummed but we went to the arcade instead and they had a great time....and we will go bowling when school is out....so two for the price of one...
I used a Let's Scrap sketch 11-25-09 and have entered it into challenge NSD#2 on their site. I've been wanting to use this picture for a little while and wanted to do a page that was fairly quick. I got it done in less than an hour. (I bet that is a challenge out there somewhere! ha)
I recently learned how to make pinwheels. They are simple and easy and they add a fun dimension to any layout. I am going to put the link to the tutorial here for you to check out. http://lotstoscrap.blogspot.com/2010/05/tuesdays-tips-techniques-pinwheels-part.html
Love all your papers on this layout. They compliment each other so well. The buttons are super cute too.
