Here is my take on the sketch:

I cut it down to 2 rows instead of 3 because I wanted my photos to be bigger.  But I think you can still get the vibe from the sketch.

 I used the top left to bottom right diagonal row: gold, two photos and arrow. I also participated in Rochelle's Sketch challenge.

My friend and I signed up for this Simple Stories Scrapbook retreat as soon as we heard about it and then had to wait and wait and wait.  But the wait was definitely worth it!  It was such a blast! We made pretty projects, learned new things and had fun with friends, old and new. Can't wait to go again!

My husband and I planned to take our two oldest sons on a trip to Hawaii to celebrate their graduation from high school.  I woke up super sick the morning we were supposed to go and stayed home. (insert sad face) A few days later I was feeling fine and decided to have my own tropical vacation at home. It was fun but not quite the same. lol
