I'm so happy that you had a chance to hop by today and check out the card I made using the new A Little Bit Oriental line of stamps from Sheena Douglass!!  This is such a gorgeous line of stamps!  You are definitely going to want to hop along the whole hop and see all the pretty projects!  To find the links to all of the participants you will need to check out the Crafter's Companion Facebook page.

I saw this cherry blossom tree stamp and just knew I had to made a card with it immediately!  I colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers in  PP1, PP5, and DR5.  I went very bright and colorful because I wanted it to really pop off the white card.

I'm still channeling my inner embossing diva so I pulled out my 6" X 6" Embossalicious Embossing Folder - Lattice and a sheet of 8" x 8" Printable Snow White Cardstock and embossed it.  I layered it on some bright orange and pink cardstock that compliment the bright happy colors I used on the tree.  I finished up by stamping the sentiment quote and coloring it with my Spectrum Noir marker in PP1.    I thought I was done but then I realized it needed a bit of sparkle and pulled out my Star Dust Stickles. I love how it turned out!!  I hope you do too.

These fab stamps are available in the Crafter's Companion online store TODAY!

Please be sure to hop along to and visit all the girls on the hop and leave a comment because there will be a prize for one randomly drawn commenter AND there will be a prize on Facebook too!  Two great prizes that you aren't going to want to miss out on trying to win!  The Hop will end on Monday, September 30th at 9pm ET.  Winners will be announced on the Crafter's Companion Facebook page on Wednesday, October 2nd.

Brambly Hedge Tea For Two

Hello people!  Who's ready for another project from me?  ha  I'm off traveling but before I left I made this sweet card using the new stamps just released today at Crafters' Companion.  These stamps are called Brambly Hedge -Autumn Story and they are so stinking cute!  Here's my "Tea for Two" card:

I stamped out the image and got busy coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I used EB1, EB2, Cr1, CR2, CR3, CR8, BG1, BG3, TB1, TB2, FS4, FS9, GG1, GG2 and TN1.  I wanted to use this pretty floral paper from Graphic 45 so I tried to pull colors from this paper onto my stamped image.  I also have been embossing everything I can get my hands on with my new Embossalicious embossing folders! ha  So of course I had to emboss the mat for the image too with my  6" X 6" Embossalicious Embossing Folder - Lattice.

The flowers were originally white but I colored them with my CR2 to color match them with my card.  I just think that this is one of the best things that you can do with your Spectrum Noir markers!  I find myself buying embellishments in cream or white and color matching them to all my projects.

I know you can't tell it from this card but this collection if full of images with adorable little mice in a variety of settings.  You will want to go check them out at Crafter's Companion.  Thanks for stopping by and looking today.
