National Scrapbook Day #2

Hi guys!  I'm back with the second layout I made on National Scrapbook Day using the challenges at The Scraproom and Scrap Our Stash.

This time I used sketch #1 from the Scraproom.

Here's my take on the challenge:

The SOS Challenge:

Create a layout using one PRE-SELECTED stash item of your choice for each letter in the word STASH. 

Each letter has (3) pre-selected stash items for you to choose from:

PRE-SELECTED STASH LIST:

                                                    S ~ Sequins, Staples, or Stickers

                                                    T ~ Tags, Tape, or Transparency

                                                    A ~ American Crafts, Ampersand(&),or Arrow

                                                    S ~ Stencil, Stick Pins, or Striped Print

                                                    H ~ Hashtag (#), Heart(s) or Hemp (cord)

I used S - Stickers, T - Tag, A - Arrow, S - Striped Print, and H - Heart. 

So there you go.  National Scrapbooking Day fun!!  I hope you had a chance to make something too.

National Scrapbook Day #1

Hi everyone!  Last weekend I was lucky enough to get to spend National Scrapbook Day at The Scrap Society Mary Poppins crop in Henderson Nevada.  Unfortunately I'm a bit of a "slow to get started" scrapper so I actually only made two layouts but I had a fun day!!  *smile*

I was motivated to make a layout using a sketch challenge from The Scraproom and the Scrap Our Stash NSD challenge.

May Sketches in Thyme

Hello people!  Happy May!  I'm here today to share a project using one of the fun May sketch challenge sketches at Sketches in Thyme.  (See how I was trying to use the word sketch as many times as possible in one sentence!? *grin*)

I used awesome sketch #197 by Sara Mishler.  Here is my layout:

Another sweet baby layout of my goddaughter's child made using my Flavor of the Month kit from The Scraproom.  YUM!

Scrap Our Stash Sketch +3 Challenge

Hello there!  I've waited until the last second to post this even though I have had it made for quite awhile.  Here is my project for the Scrap Our Stash Sketch +3 challenge.  I picked the color Jade from List 1, the color Crimson from List 2 and Lined Paper from List 3.

Sketches in Thyme April Challenge

Hello friends!

How is your month going so far?  Sketch challenge #192 by Shawn Lahr is up at Sketches in Thyme and I think you are going to want to go check it out.  Here is my take:

I love this cool wood piece that I have been hoarding.  I finally decided to break down and use it.  I did some paper piecing behind it and I just love how it turned out!  And who can not love baby photos?!  lol  This baby turned 1 year old today!!

The prize this month is awesome!  It is the brand new and fabulous Regatta Workshop Your Way kit.

Sketches in Thyme March Project
