I turned the sketch on it's side.  I really like how it turned out and might just have to go back and scrap the other side of the sketch next! lol

Saturday Cartoon Sketch Challenge Reveal

Welcome friends!!

I'm back here today to share my newest layout.  I was inspired to scrap by the September Saturday Cartoon Sketch challenge at Scrap Our Stash.

I included pencils notebook paper and scissors as my "educational symbol".  I really love how this layout turned out.  It is so bright and happy!

I was inspired by the gorgeous fall colors. I can't believe it is already time to scrap FALL!! I also participated in Rochelle's Sketch challenge and used her sketch inspiration to make my layout.

I'm excited to share a layout I made for the newest challenge over at Scrap Our Stash.  This challenge is the August Pick A Side Sketch Challenge.  You just need to create a layout based on either the LEFT or the RIGHT side of the sketch AND you must use 5 PATTERNED PAPERS and TWINE.

Buried at the Beach - Sketches in Thyme Reveal

Hello my friends!

I was lucky to get to go on a family vacation to San Diego, California this summer.  We took the kids to the beach and my oldest son wanted to be buried in the sand.  Everyone took great joy in covering him in sand!   Here is a layout I made to document that fun event.  I was totally inspired by the awesome new sketch challenge at Sketches in Thyme.

Scrap Our Stash August Reveal

Happy August!

I have a fun layout today that I want to share with you that I made using the newest challenge at Scrap Our Stash.  The August Saturday Cartoon Inspired Sketch challenge is 

Here is my layout:

I turned the sketch and was inspired by the colors on this cartoon image and of course I scrapped my family.  I always have fun using mixed alphas so that was easy to incorporate.
