Scrap Society Crop

Hi everyone!

I recently went to a fun Scrap Society - Alice In Wonderland themed crop with my bestie, Denise.  I actually got a lot of scrapping done which is unusual for me since I'm a piddler.  I just piddle around until I finally get started scrapping!  lol

I actually scrapped a WHOLE calender - all twelve months!  (I haven't photographed it yet)  And I made a few cards.  Here are a couple to show you.

I used a paper pad and embellies that I won while I was there.

Here is a layout I made.

I started this layout at the crop but just finished it here at home.  I used a bunch of fun Prima embellishments that I got in one of their Special Delivery boxes.  I have to force myself not to hoard them because they are so beautiful!!!

I think that is all to share today....but you never know...lol  Thanks for stopping and looking today.  Until next time...happy scrapping!

Your Are My Sunshine!

Hello friends!

Today I have a layout to share that I'm in love with!  Well I'm in love with the paper collection I mean.  I can't for the life of me remember the name of it though!  ha  The colors and images are so yummy.  It was really just a dream to work with them.  I used the beautiful sketch from Laura Whitaker for the Stuck?! Sketches February Challenge.  Things just came together so quickly and easily.

Isn't that paper to die for?! I fussy cut those flowers out of the patterned paper and just had fun layering and layering them.

I also made a birthday layout for one of my sons.  I recently got a Cameo for Christmas and am learning to use it little by little! ha  I'm loving it so far!!  I used it to cut out the balloons for the title.

Fun right??  I used a left over balloon and my scraps to make this card.

I really love challenging myself to use my leftover scraps right away after making a layout to make a card.  I couldn't decide what color balloons I wanted on the layout so I made them in a few different colors.

That's it for now.  Thanks for visiting!!  Until next time...happy scrapping!

Donna Downey Fun

Hello everyone!

Not too long ago I was lucky enough to get to go take a class in person with the amazing Donna Downey.  It was her Metamorphosis class.  It was 3 days of awesome fun and creativity.  I loved it!!  My mother and I  painted a canvas, a paintbrush roll and a book bag AND we painted the pages for a book and then bound it.

Here are a few photos from my class:

It was a totally great time and I would do it again in a heartbeat!  Here is a layout I made about it.  I'm entering it over at Sketches in Thyme for their Sketch 140 challenge.
And I am also entering it at Scrap Our Stash in the WASHI challenge.  W - washi, A - arrow, S - stripes, H - handwriting, I - ink.

Thanks for stopping by and looking today!  Until next time...happy scrapping!  Stacy

Fun Holiday Layout

Hello there!

Here is a layout I made using some of the fun photos I took on Christmas eve.  These are two of my kids.  And they have a close relationship.  I used a fun stencil I bought in Oklahoma and I fussy cut the flower and leaves out of my patterned paper.  This a an older paper pack I had in Oklahoma.

Just wanted to share...  Until next time...happy scrapping!

Cards and more Cards

Welcome!

Today I have a couple of cards that I made to share.  This first one is a card I made using ideas from an Online Card Classes class I took called Clean and Simple Card Making 4.

Next I decided to make a card using the idea of silhouette.  I used Tim Holtz Distress inks and just blended from one color to the next.  Then I used a stencil and black ink to make the flower silhouettes.

They were both fun to make.  Thanks for coming by today!  Until next time...happy scrapping!

Snowman Canvas

Hi guys!

I wanted to share a couple of canvases that my son, Quinn and I made over the Christmas holidays.  My mother actually purchased the class for her and I to take but then she got sick and couldn't go.  So I decided to take my son and go.  We went and it was a total blast!  Here are our canvases:

Mine.

Here is Quinn's.

Didn't they turn out cute!!?  You can tell I decided that my snowman was going to be out in a snow storm!  I also figured he needed a band around his hat.  We had the option to give him a tall hat or a short hat.  We both went for the tall hat but I felt mine needed a little something extra so I cut out the band and added it to the hat.

I'm sorry my mom didn't get to join us in the fun!

Thanks for stopping and looking!  Until next time...happy scrapping!
