Hoppy Easter

Here is an Easter layout I made this weekend. I have been looking at all the awesome "guy" cards and projects that the design team from Crafter's Companion has been sharing using the new Stamp It Australia-Guys in our Life stamp collection. Aren't you always kind of on the look out for masculine stamps?? I know I am.
However, I wanted to show that these stamps don't have to be only for the guys in our life. I decided to take the Overlapped Text Stamp and stamp it onto some of my purple Pearlescent Pastels paper and use it as matting for an Easter photo of my kids.
I really love the texture this stamp brings to the matting around the photo. And it is just so soft and pretty with all these pastel colors. I pulled some ribbon and bling from my Tiggy-winkle papercraft bundle of goodies I bought from the Crafter's Companion store. I typed up my journaling in Word and printed it out on some cream Pearlescent paper and then cut it into strips. I really like how it all turned out.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my project and that you take the time this month to join in on the Crafter's Companion USA Challenge Blog April Mother's Day challenge . You could win the Tiggy-winkle paper craft collection for your very own!    Come on now...help a sister out!  LOL

  2. Cute Layout! I like the little bunny and the frame is perfect with the other colors. TFS AJ!

  3. Pretty layout Stacy..love the picture of your kids:)

  4. Pretty LO! Love that you stamped around the photo! I will try to create a card for the challenge cant promise we have some contractors coming to the house any day and that is keepign me busy along with dh only be home 2 days this week.
We have a small leak in dd room on the ceiling from the rain storm. The rain blew in the chimney and casued a leak but it did not soak through the ceiling just cracked the paint so now we have to get the dry wall & ceiling fix thank goodness its a small area of damage. Still will be a lot of dust so I will have to cover everything in her room and move some more furniture.
