It is the start of a new week and I am feeling very upbeat! We had a great time visiting with our guests this weekend!! How fun and surprising it was to have them come so spur of the moment!!!! They are back home now but it was awesome to have them come over to see us.
Today I finally finished up this layout that is my example for my Stash Challenge at Sketches4you. I drew up this sketch and want it to be the jumping off point. And whoever does this challenge needs to use buttons too. Easy enough.
I did a layout about my dd's Gotcha Day. We adopted her and got to go to pick her up on her 1st birthday. So it was a doubly special day. The nannies at St. Lucy Center in Taiwan had gotten her a cake which she shared with all the other February babies. It was so sweet of them.
I used paper that I got from Pink Paislee in a surprise box. (so fun to get a surprise box) You can still order one until August 17th....here..... http://pinkpaislee.com/warehouse-sale/
I used my Pagoda Cricut cartridge and my Cuttin Up Cricut Cartridge to do the title and an embellie. I used buttons from my stash. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch that I got on sale. RIbbon and floss from my stash. Stamped a few things. Made it sparkle with some crystal Stickles...
I'm happy with it. And I hope you like looking at it too! Go check out my challenge at Sketches4you (click on link on sidebar). I have a great prize for the winner.
Our little Livvy is such a cute baby....but she is beautiful now.
