Believe!

Happy Sunday!!
I am sitting here in my office enjoying Dora and Diego playing in the background. Do you have small children who are obsessed with a TV character or show? If you do you will totally understand how close I am to pulling my hair out!! LOL (jk) My kids don't get to watch TV at all during the week so they make up for it on the weekend. I sometimes have to force them to go outside!! LOL
It is a gorgeous day here in Vegas (yet again). And here two of them sit watching TV. But I guess I'm equally guilty because here I sit on the computer inside instead of going out and enjoying the sunshine. oh well...
I told you yesterday that I did made two layouts well today I am going to share one with you. I made it for Sketches4all. http://sketchesforyou.ning.com/ It was out Design Team sketch for January. It is posting on S4A this afternoon (not sure exactly when because it wasn't up yet when I just checked).
We used this beautiful sketch by Moma website: http://www.scrapsketches.blogspot.com They do the loveliest sketches!!
I really LOVE how this layout turned out. I had fun putting it together. I bought a paper pad at Michael's while I was in Oklahoma from Recollections called Warm Wishes. I really just called to me so I had to have it. The paper is Kraft paper based. On this layout I only used paper from this pack and a sheet of green card stock from my stash.
I was so happy to get to use my new Martha Stewart punches. YUM! LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! I fussy cut the mittens out of one of the paper sheets and used them for a banner along the top with some bakers twine.
I also fussy cut the ornament out of another sheet of paper to use as an embellie.
I even made a hidden journaling tag. Isn't it a fun layout!
The photo is of my kids doing they yearly tradition of sitting on Santa's lap at the mall. I'm not sure how many more years I will get of them all doing it since the older boys are already 11 years old. We go every year.
Do you have this tradition?? Or another tradition you want share? I'm always so curious on how other's celebrate the holidays.
Enough for today... thanks for stopping by my blog today. Enjoy the rest of your day!

  1. This is a gorgeous layout, I love the mittens and yes we have the tradition of visiting Santa at his grotto in a department store. I remember doing it as a child and this brought back some wonderful memories

  2. This came out so awesome! I love the paper! I must have missed this one! We don't go to get our photos taken, not sure why. I think when they were little I was afraid of the germs and the crowds and then it seemed since I missed one year... then the next it just never became a tradition! We had to go out today in search of a backpack and ended up at Joann's. They had some good clearance stuff I picked up a few small paper pads (because I need more paper) and they had the Sizzix Holiday dies for 70% off! I picked up three different ones. They will probably sit in the bag on the bag of my chair till next year waiting to be put away! My E2 is still sitting in the hallway. I seriously have no place for it.. I am hoping my Husband will say Honey why don't you take my side of the office. Ha!
